The application process

  1. Register through our application portal
  2. Complete the scholarship application form and upload it to the application portal with the required documents
  3. After the submission, we carefully review the application based on performance, personal profile and financial situation
  4. Candidates who meet the foundation’s requirements will be invited for a telephone interview
  5. After the telephone interview, the decision on the awarding of the scholarship is made

Required documents

In order to review your application, all the documents listed below must be available in the online application portal. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Letter of motivation (maximum 2 pages)
  • Fully completed scholarship application form
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Copy of school graduation certificate
  • Certificate of enrolment or admission letter from university
  • Performance record (grade transcript)
  • Two recommendation letters from professors on your personal and academic suitability (see FAQs for more information)
  • Proof of income from your parents

Exception: For prospective students who do not yet have any study experience, proof of academic achievement and two recommendation letters from professors are not required
